Yeah well, that's the entire point, I don't want to. I know it's possible to have it online (instead of using mIRC) because other websites provide that for the people who don't like/understand these irc clients. I just don't know how it's being done...

I know that some networks offer Java based access to the service, but as far as I know, Freenode does not.
If you don't want to install mIRC or XChat, there is an IRC client that comes with the Mozilla web browser. And if you use a mac, Safari has one too. Otherwise, I can't think of any other way to connect to the IRC channel. |
