I've started a Google Community IRC channel on Freenode.org for all of us Googlers to have a good place to hang around and chat. Hopefully we can get a lot of participation and make some good discussions in there. Please make sure you are nice and use common sense while in there... I've set up a bot to kick users who can't do this. Here is the information.

Current GC admins and mods are welcome to become Channel Ops, at my discretion.

I am not good at this IRC stuff. How do I join if I go to that site http://irc.freenode.com it comes up with some Apache crap

You have to download an IRC clinet.

Some ones I recommend are:

mIRC: http://www.mirc.com/index.html
XChat: http://www.xchat.org/

Oh...boy I feel dumb. OKay, Ill need to find an online one. Im going to leave soon for Halloween stuff.

XChat is completely free, no trials, etc.

I don't really like installing it on my computer. Isn't there a website where I can do that IRC thingy online, without installing it on my computer? Anybody has an idea, maybe?
