Suggestion: Blogs section?

Hi Intelliot, can I suggest that we could use a section related to blogs and different blogging systems?

Thanks,
Andy

Why would we need that? I haven't seen a lot of posts related to blogs and this is a google community. It doesn't seem to make sence to create a section for it.

You'd understand it if you had a blog, trust me...

Okay, to be honest, I'm also pretty interested at what's currently happening in each corner of the world's blogosphere... And about blogs, there's a wide range of blogging systems available, Blogger, MovableType, Typepad, LiveJournal etc... You can say I'm interested in those discussions...

Blogs have also played a large role in the recent US elections and have influenced the American media, so I don't think it's fair to just have a few threads for blogs.

Perhaps if there are others here interested in this section, please feel free to reply to this thread... =)

I have a bloc or two but I never update them, not sure why.

One of them is:

http://darrenstraight.blogspot.com

When I still needed a gmail account.

Anyway I supose intelliot could consider it if there was the demand for a forum section for blocs, but dont forget there is a blogger forum Mind you I supose it is only really for blogger.

I don't see any point for a blog. If you really want to have a blog section have it put up as a sticky in a section. No point in having a section just for blogs

If we open a forum for a blog, then we'd get requests to open forums for forums, blogs, wikis, and all different types of websites. I don't see the purpose for a specific forum related to blogs. In fact, I don't recall seeing more than 3 or 4 topics regarding blogs.
