Hello everyone,

I had been debating about this post for quite sometime- whether i should post it or not? There are two recent posts which accelarated my decision to post: 1. the post by Stuff2do ' indicating how to block the images' and the post by Geekerati 'indicating his desire to lurk'.
The problem identified : The presence of elements in the community with an intention to create chaos. Feeling amongst some of the members that action is not taken by intelliot despite " his being in the know of thing."
I am not a moderator and hence i do not know the technicality of what has happened. Intelliot being the adminsitrator can have all the technical details and i reliably understand that he had a feedback about the entire episode.
There are some posts about the "ring leader" and that intelliot is aware of each one of them who actively colluded in those 24 hours.
Now why this episode?
As a member of the community and having gone through the posts i reconstruct the events leading to such a
situation. There was a reference from one of the moderators that GC is sick and needs attention. I had posted in reply to identify the sickness before making such comment. However some of the moderators and active members felt that GC needs a "doctor". There was no proper diagnosis of the sickness and the murmur became louder, but the activity was on! Suddenly there was a post for second administrator and i posted a disagreement on the same and indicated
that it is for intelliot, being the owner of the board, to decide on the matter and it is not warranted. There was some agreements and disagreements on this issue.
Around the same time I received a mail from one of the active members, providing me a link to a "petition site" which advised the members to sign a petition to intelliot. I did sign the petition but made a note in the site that it is not fair to act outside the board, and made the author of the petition to come out openly in the board itself. The matter was brought to the board, ( it is another matter that my post in the petition site was deleted) and i thanked for bringing to the board and still maintained that it is for intelliot to decide and i am of the opinion that the second administrator is not needed. You may also recall the post which i indicated the intention of intelliot and the impossibility of attaining the goal of 45 signatures.
Around this time there was a post that one of the moderator was demoted and i too did voice my opinion that the said demotion is not warranted.
Then all the hell broke loose.
I saw the market forum " silly posts" and reacted. Then I saw the notice from intelliot,that he will not listen to any appeals regarding restoration of position and the community is under attack and he is taking every step to regularise the site.
By that time i could see activities of sabotage, ( rather from one of the post of Geekarati) and resorted to post with Capital letters. I was also in touch with one of the moderators, who confessed to me that he was misled by the "ring leader" and he is being misunderstood! I had also advised him to take up the matter with intelliot.
Thus, i can safely conclude that it is the desire and ambition to hold power by an individual has created such rackus. I am also aware of the balance which intelliot should have in mind, of meeting the aspirations of the community members. I would request
Intelliot, who has all the details, to identify the root and take corrective action, including banning. This does not mean that those who colluded and fell a pray to the negative thoughts should escape. If they were moderators it is time to have a rethink on such position.
I, do provide respect to the ownership of the board, and there are some corrective actions that can be taken to make the GC live and active. It is not that the suggestions are to be implemented, but intelliot can certainly write to me in this regard. I assure him and you of every cooperation within my means.

RIGHT, thats just what i have found interesting, the person who gave me these logs gave me them in the confidence i wouldnt give there info out, so all names but the ring leaders have been removed, now you see what he is really like

Eric: About a month ago decided to go on a crazy spamming spree spamming 100 useless messages.

Because some people have a grudge and a problem with jealousy, there is a problem. It's that simple. I'm sure Intelliot will make a decision to stop the problems. And I'm sure it will be the right one.

i have not spammed since i come, i admit now, i was involved in spamming, and im not telling who else was until they come forward themself, i will show everyone the logs, see what randy hs done to this community, never trust him again, elliot, i know i deserve to be banned for being involved in the spamming, so i will give someone else the evidence to post here

Just to let you know.... repeatedly posting the same thing in different threads and/or forums is an offense that can result in a ban. I'm reporting those posts to Intelliot immediately. I don't understand why YOU (a spamming not respectable GC member) would make these accusations which are false and skewed in the first place. Until Stuff2Do can prove that those logs are truthful and unmodified, I suggest you don't use those as a way to make your opinion.

Agreed. I will not let it get out of control, but I sure will defend myself.... especially against a non-respectable spammer. If I remember, you (Stuff2Do) have been banned on the pretense of spamming, the exact same thing you are accusing others.
