Am I right in saying all posts are checked by moderators before being posted on the board? If so, how long does this take?

I posted a reply to a question over 6 hours ago and it's still not on the thread.

Edit: it's now three days and the message still hasn't been posted on the thread!

If you have fewer than a certain number of posts, your posts will be checked for certain content (for example, external links). If it contains this content, it will be held in moderation for approval. This will generally be done within 5 business days. If your post still does not appear, then I suggest reposting it (and avoiding any content that might be construed as spam).
