Ericsson
Suggestion: An ignore list.

Elliot, you must be aware that many people are annoyed and irritated by some of my posts, including yourself. Usually, the common solution is to issue a ban on one of my accounts after they are finished nagging about it to you. I think it would be best just to add an ignore list so they don't have to go through my posts. I also would love to use that ignore feature to block some people's posts from being displayed to me myself.

An ignore list would be a really good idea. I would like to block posts from some people.

While the idea appeals to me in one sense, it will reduce the character of the board to a messenger chat! The idea of the board, is to exchange information for the benefit of the community being the board members. It is not replacement to one messenger, but to foster a sense of common goal and friendship. Normally, if I am banned for my actions, which i feel is not justifiable, i shall appeal to make the administrator or the owner of the board to see my point of view. If the appeal is not heard and justified, then I would prefer leaving the community than hankering after the same. If any members account is banned, and if he still wishes to continue, of course under a different name, he should learn to respect the feeling of fellow members and act so. In the case of eric, even though he had been five times as per his own signature, I had posted a view. ( he considers that irrelevant and I had to post in the said thread, because i liked the thread and approach and thought he will consider the views. He is at perfect liberty to ignore the views and act as per his desire. But his freedom or liberty ends where it curtails another individuals freedom and liberty) The rules of the board are to be respected and if it is not to my liking i will leave the board than hankering after the said board. After all this is not the only place where i can have friends to my liking. If i do want friends in the gay community i would prefer to become a member of the board which is targeted at them than join any board and spoil their sentiments. Let me make it clear of my view:

1. This is not the only board which in existence in this age.
2. If i wish to continue to be a member of this board , i have to accept the rules and decisions of the moderator/administrator
3. There can not be any short cut to the transparency by introducing ignore list.

If it is the intention of eric, that members should leave this board, he can continue to act in the manner which he deems fit. If he wishes to continue here, then the basic courtesy is to be exhibited. If his intention is to usurp this board, then it is between him and intelliot and the moderators.
Only wondering, why eric could not have his own board, with all the amenities are available for free?
why hankering after this community?

I wanted to say the same sort of think, but now you have said it for me, thanks.

I think that if you used this mod you would always be missing a part of the conversation, it would be really weird trying to play some of the games in the games and quizzes forum.

It would be useful to block posts by people that spam with sick images as their avatar. That's what I was thinking about.
