Post counts no longer displayed

It's the quality of posts that count, not quantity. You can still see how many posts a user has by viewing their profile.

This is similar to the forums at http://forums.mozillazine.org/

I have no problem, but suddenly, it's feeling like the year 2000 all over again, except it's lame. I think we should uninstall phpBB and install uBB, where you can make post counts completely invisible.

ROFL...are you serious? I know a few forums which still use uBB, but most of them switched to vB.

Eric's previous scattered ramblings around the forums about MyBB made me take a closer look at it and I think it'd be better if we switched to that.

Back on topic, I've nothing much to say about this, apart that I don't think it's a very good decision. Time may prove me wrong though.

If I can still see their post count in their profile, then it makes no difference. I usually take the time to check out people's profile, so I'll know anyway. What's the point in this if their post count is still visible? Maybe it will decrease the spam, I don't know. We'll see how it works.
