Randy
I'm not too sure why Elliot left me out of the poll, but I have PMed him requesting that he add me. Google Community is a forum filled with wonderful opportunity, much of which is being left to rot. As you may know, I have been in pursuit of an administrator position in Google Community for many many uncountable months. Many of you remember the Google Community administrator petition, or my multiple posts encouraging and suggesting that another administrator be added in order to help maintain a peaceful community. I believe that the previous actions that I have taken and me being the first person to respond to this thread demonstrate my eagerness and dedication to Google Community and make the choice for the next Google Community admin pretty obvious.

I'd like to tell you a few simple facts about me that make me stand out in the crowd of above listed other options for Google Community Admin. Of the above listed candidates, I am the second most active contributor, racking up a total of growing 1872 posts. This indicates my passion and dedication to Google Community and shows that I will continue being a strong contributor of content to Google Community. But there is much more to being an administrator to a large community such as this as post count. I have a very impressive resume that includes administering many other large web forums. These include Kevin Rose, former TechTV host's forums, Tech-Forums.net, as well as a number of forums of my own. The previous sentence indicates that I have a very good ability to handle issues that arise when administering a forum. Some of these issues include problem members, spammers, etc. In addition to administrating many forums in the past, I have a very respected record as a member here of Google Community. Most members probably agree that I am a helpful person that is interested in keeping Google Community a safe, fun, and easy way to interact and share information and ideas about our favorite search engine.

I believe that I am one of the most active and long-lasting Google Community members. I am online hours a day and can honestly say that I have thoroughly read EVERY thread on Google Community. My goal as an administrator of Google Community would be to make Google Community the best place on the internet to discuss Google. I have great skills at handling issues and problems that are bound to happen to a large forum such as Google Community and am asking for your vote. I like the idea of Google Community being a democratic forum and encourage all people to vote for who they believe should be the next Google Community administrator, and I'm hoping that the person you vote for is me. Remember: Every vote counts!

My feeling is that Darren would make the best administrator on this site. He is a wonderfully friendly person, and is a really keen member of this community. Every member knows Darren, and every member from my experience likes Darren.

He is online for quite a lot of time, so he would have many opportunities to keep these forums running smoothly. Darren is the most active member on these forums, with over 3000 posts. This shows that he is an extremely keen member here, and he is willing to spend a lot of time helping these forums develop.

From my personal experiences with Darren, I feel he would be the best choice in this situation. I have become great friends with him from talking to him on MSN and I often find him telling me of a thread to lock or delete in a forum section he doesn't have powers in. This goes to show he is going beyond he responsibilities as a moderator, and is really trying hard to make this community a better place for us all.

In conclusion, Darren would be a great administrator because he has a great passion for this community, he has lots of friends here and he is able to spend a lot of time on his duties as an administrator.

So go and vote for Darren!

Randy, I didn't include you on the poll because you told me you didn't want to have moderator responsibilities anymore. I'm not sure why that is. However, I chose to include only moderators in the poll - and it was your decision not to be one.

In any case, I have added you on because it is fair to do so. Just don't expect to win

Cat relax, let's not fight about this, it's not worth it.

I won't vote. To me it doesn't feel right, it feels like a decision to be made by Intelliot. However I will give you my opinion.

It looks like Darren will be our new administrator. Darren is a trustworthy and kind person who can do the job right. I believe in Darren and I know he'll do a great job, so I'm happy and relieved everybody else in this community feels the same way.
