Google Community Staff

Based on a new topic called "Rules" posted by Randy on August 4th, I want to know if the source, author of the "Rules" were developed by The Moderator alone or with the assistance of the "GC Staff". Are such postings approved and sancioned by the GC Community or are they the declarations of a single individual?

My interest was raised when I noticed that the "Rules" Topic was locked, disallowing any comment or discussion on the "Rules".

The Google Community is a community and a democratic forum unless I missed somthing. Let's not forget that point.

The rules were originally posted by me, and edited and agreed upon my myself and Intelliot.

An open forum that encourages input from the Google Community, will go a long way towards ehancing the open exchange of ideas and enhance the value of the GC experience.

I find those rules are a matter of common sense, so I don't have the necessitty of adding things there. If I had, I would use MPs...
