Do GCAdmins approach member and offer jobs??

I got approach by someone thru my msn messenger that claimed to be a GC Admin and he offer me a job as and admin here in GC. What I found intriguing was that he said I had to send him US$90 as a sign of good faith and to corroborate my billing record. I found it odd and wanted to post this to see if I get any responses.

Don't trust the person. He is likely an imposter. First of all, Intelliot doesn't use MSN, so that disqualifies him from consideration. Darren does use MSN, but I doubt he would approach you with that kind of offer and ask for money as a token of goodwill. Besides, there are no real "jobs" here, which automatically eliminates the admins from any kind of suspicion. The moderators are merely volunteers. They don't get paid.

I have received a number of complaints already about this guy and I can tell you now that yes he is an imposter and yes we do have an idea who he is, and if this is to continue I myself will take a more powerful action against him!

He has registered a Microsoft .Net Passport account under the name of "admin@googlecommunity.com] unluckily for him he can’t verify this account because he can’t receive the validation email that would have been sent to the address he used which was “admin@googlecommunity.com”

If anybody else receives any more news please let me know and I will take what action I can against him.

Ps. Mr Imposter If you are reading this now I would stop if I was you as I’m telling you now you don’t want to get your self into any more trouble than you already are.

Wow. Has anyone actually contacted MSN about this?

Not much of a hassle. MSN is informed that their service is being used for criminal purposes, they investigate, forward the complaint and pertinent records to whichever law enforcement agencies have jurisdiction. Happens all the time, as a matter of course.

I'm not a big MSN Messenger user, so I don't know much about the system. But I did send a message to them about the problem. If you can also report this, I encourage you to do so. Otherwise, I'd just block and ignore the user, and not worry about it. Learn more...
