Apology for the Internet Explorer Trojan Horse

It recently came to my attention that there was a virus being downloaded to users of Internet Explorer that visited GoogleCommunity.com. I honestly have no idea how it got there, and I am sorry that I wasn't around to remove it immediately.

I suggest using Firefox: it's faster and safer. But if you do use Internet Explorer, don't worry. I will do anything I can to stop these viruses from appearing on this site.

Topic where the virus was discovered.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. If you ever have any difficulty with this website, or have any suggestions for its improvement, do not hesistate to let me know. Thanks!

Thanks intelliot. I've been toggling back and forth trying the new IE and stuff, so I'm lucky I wasn't infected, too. Glad you have it squared away now.

I think that's one of the reasons the exploit has been so 'successful'. Not many forum administators, (or anyone else somewhat knowledgable) use IE as their main browser; so it's a while before these things are detected.
