why GC was boring?

at yet.,i know now.,why GC was boring.
today ..,i searched the last golden GC days.,the topics are very interesting and very good.,In our days.,why we can't creat the good topics?
should we think a little..,

i think mods/admin should have to promote/invite more members...

For example: today, while scanning "New Topics," I saw at least 10 labeled, just, "Hello". The non-specifity does nothing to invite me to participate in the thread. Authors should create specific topics attracting further conversation, and perhaps reducing the possibility of duplicated effort...

its because many spammers just spam intro threads and some post doesn't make sense..
