Google Alerts
9th June 2008
Hi, I have joind the Community in the hope of finding an answer to a query about Google Alerts. I publish an on-line magazine for the printing industry and I have subscribed to Google Alerts for many months in order to help me source news for my publication. The service works well and I have, on many ocassions, managed to be one of the first to get hot industry news out. However, I have to wonder why Google Alerts never sees my publication as a source of news for the industry. Most of the Alerts I receive are from some of my associates and their news is sometimes older than my own, yet Google ignores my magazine. Please let me know how to position my on-line magazine so that it can be a source of news to others in the industry. Thanks Regards Brian Stickland |
