A big Google mistake

Hi all,

Google has decided to make changes to my (and our) home page by adding a "home" tab. I need to find out how to delete this intrusion. Someone had suggested d/l greasemonkey but then the .xpi extension was not recognized and the link to d/l a fix to that was no longer valid. Does anyone have an easy fix to this issue?

Go to internet options & change the home page address, let google disappear!
Make youtube.com as your home, so you can enjoy various clips!

I have switched often to using Netvibes (check it out) but... As I said in another post: If you use Firefox, and have the Stylish add-on; or if you're using Opera, you can foist a little user CSS upon the iGoogle page to suppress display of the tab. One simple statement, to be displayed whenever you go to that URL:

#col1{display:none !important}

Use yahoo instead.
