Disk bacliup error -Virtual Volume File PQV2i.sys not found

Hi all,
For those of you who are not able to run a disk backup on Norton Ghost (any Ver) or other disk backup software, this is a fix I discoveredthrough trial and error.
[b]Description:/[b] An error occurred creating a backup of drive C:\. The Virtual Volume Imaging driver (pqv2i.sys) is not present on the system.BRError Description: An error occurred creating a backup of drive C:\. The Virtual Volume Imaging driver (pqv2i.sys) is not present on the system.BRError EC8F000C: Cannot find the Virtual Volume Image driver. Error 00000002: The system cannot find the file specified.BRDetails: Unspecified error: Cannot find the Virtual Volume Image driver. Error 00000002: The system cannot find the file specified.BRDetails: Unspecified error

If you recently installed a bootscreen image changer program likeStyleXP, Changer XPor other bootscreen program for XP, your disk backup program will give you the above error(s). Thishappens when you choose a boot screen other than the Win XP default boot screen. Theboot screenprogram will will change theoriginal kernel1.exe file name to a backup file (kernel1.bak or kernel1.tmp) and a new boot screen file is made(kernel.exe or similar) in your C:\Windows\system32 folder. Disk backup programs look for the oruginal kernel1.exe file, if it is not found then your going to get the error.
[b]Fix:/[b] Reset back to the original kernel1 file, another words, rename the backup file to"kernel1.exe"(default boot screen for WinXP).Boot screen changer programs usually have a button to do this. This was a fix for me and hope it helps others with the same problem. I know your out there, so pass this on to all your friends.

Thats it!
Best of luck ya'll

I am not totally sure how to do this. I am working on my mother's computer. She has an HP Pavillion. Her C drive is HP Pavillion C. Her D drive is HPRecovery D. Does this have some kind of proprietary stuff that does not allow you to use other backup programs on it? I am not a beginner, but am not a computer college science graduate, either. Have not been able to back it up with the backup system included in Windows, either. HELP!!!
