Windows Vista

I just found out today that Windows Vista Beta 2 was released for the public. I signed up for a Microsoft thingy so I could download it and it said the following: brdiv id="contentRegion"
pThank you for your interest in Windows Vista Beta 2./p

pWe are currently experiencing a high level of demand and cannot
process your request at this time./p

pPlease check back later for availability. We apologize for any
inconvenience./pp/phr style="width: 100%; height: 2px;"/div

I looked around a bit to try and download the English version for 64-bit processors, but I couldn't find anywhere to download it. For that matter, I looked for other versions too, but I couldn't find any place to download them either. I got a direct link to the download from someone's site and it said: brh2Access denied./h2br

Please go to a href="http://www.windowsvista.com/getready/preview"http://www.windowsvista.com/getready/preview/abrhr style="width: 100%; height: 2px;"So does anybody know where I can download a version of it? Preferrably the English 64-bit Edition. Thanks in advance.br

Topic is over a week old but eh.

If you click the 'direct link' download instead of their funky download manager link, it'll download.

Windows Vista

Save your temper and forget about the beta Vista. I invested $5.00 for the disc, installed it, and lost all my programs for a very limited OS. I cannot get into the Internet any more, and I cannot access any of my old programs in Windows XP. I cannnot even uninstall the darn monstrosity. Its control panel has no area for removing programs - at least I cannot find any way to do it, so I can get back my old XP.

The Microsoft support group is non-existent. I have asked them what to do and how to do it, but their silence is deafening.

I installed Vista on a spare hard drive and everything works except for a few things, like the drivers for my TV Card. I'm sure there are probably more bugs, but I haven't found them yet. I hope that the Windows XP files and transfer wizard thingy will transfer my files to the new good vista, when it comes out.
