Price doesn't matter?

How about a very overpriced Alienware Aurora ALX laptop, costing £3,436.88.

- AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile ML44 2.4GHz 800MHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache
- 2GB RAM
- Dual 512MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GTX SLI Enabled
- etc....

Processor wise go with an AMD since Pentiums have heat issues.

I don't have a specific recommendation, but don't skimp on the memory.

I have a crappy old laptop that only has 1 memory slot and it slows me down so much whenever I do things with video or Photoshop.

I just purchased a laptop...I went with the Sager 5760. Alienware builds their laptop of the Sager base but you can purchase the actual Sager laptop for a much better price. This is the exact receipt from my purchase... Really powerful laptop at a really low price. I am a Tactical Network Specialist for the Marine Corps so I know a little about computers and I shopped around fora while before I found this at powernotebooks.com

You can add stuff on there without much of a problem at all. You can get a second video card to bring it up from a 7900 gtx 512mb vid card to a 1024mb total. Also you can upgrade the RAM to 2 GB or even get a bigger and a second hard drive.
