internet explorer history

hi i want to ask about this strange thing i noticed about my internet explorer well it clears the history by itself each time i close it even when i assign like 50 days for the pages to stay
so if someone knows about that let me know

hmm...thats a strange problem
which version of IE do you use?
if you are using IE 6,then download IE7,it might work
though the best option is to download firefox 2.

have you tried reinstalling your IE? maybe it can help....

generally this happens when u got some 3rd party programs installed in ur pc.
programs like "tuneup utilities" have an option that lets u enable or disable the option of automatically deleting the history lists.
i dont know how to change this without the sofware installed but will let u know as soon as i get it.

I know you can set I.E to delete temporary Internet files on closure of I.E but have never heard of the history being deleted automatically.

Have you recently installed any sofware which removes the browsing history. If No, I recommend you reinstall I.E
