I like the idea of using more than one of these programs at a time, just to be on the safe side. The Pro version of Ad-Aware offers real-time protection, stopping threats from ever getting in your machine. I use Microsoft Windows AntiSpyware (Beta) currently because it offers real-time features and it's FREE! Right out of the box it caught several things on my system and I was using the Pro version of Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy.
