Windows Vista

As we all know that MICROSOFT has launched its newest O.S. VISTA (worldwide i.e.), it came to my mind that : Have you or Are you going to change to VISTA?
The fact of the matter is you must know that you need not compulsory change to VISTA. VISTA is a new version from MICROSOFT, and it will not necessarily run on your computer running WINDOWS XP. It is designed keeping in mind all the technological upgrades that have taken place during the past years. So your old PC with a 2 GHz or less processor and 512 mb or less of RAM wont support the advanced graphics of VISTA. If you are thinking of upgrading to VISTA then ask yourself if you really need it. All softwares are currently supporting XP and will support it for few years to come. Just make sure that you have some new hardware in your box, and also that you have that kind of money to spend on a new copy. Practically this i'snt the time for upgrading and going to a new system!

Actually, I have tried the beta of Vista before, and I've encountered a lot of trouble on computer.. It is more prone to viruses especially if you're on the net.. So as of now, I'm satisfied with the XP. I'm not sure whether if the beta or the released version would still be the same on feature or not..

Windows Vista is an operating system which is needing a high specification of your unit in order to run efficiently. Don't go for its minimum requirements else you were regret.

My latest Dell notebook came with a free upgrade to Vista. After putting it in, many things were worse than before. The Intel 1390 wireless utility didn't have the drawing power for faint signals because I had to use the windows based software to mention one thing.

I removed it and reinstalled the older package. My wife could use a newer notebook right now, but doesn't want Vista or we would have ordered one.
