Mac or PC?

i really enjoy using macs, but unfortunately i still use windows , i was wondering does anyone else wish to change over to using a mac computer for there use. Does any1 think there are any advantages using a windows machine over a mac Mac to me seem to run a lot smoother, and are a lot more easier to use, and recently look a whole heap better.
Anyway pls vote this poll will run for a couple of months, so get your votes in early
Enjoy your google and gMail

I had a macintosh...well I don't really like Macs, they're good for nothing except for digital media. It's good especially for independant film-makers...

I don't think I can choose because they both have a set of advantages and disadvantages
The Pc is under threat from viruses all the time that's why you have to have an antivirus at hand. But even so you are not safe. Yesterday I got a virus unfortunately of the net and even though I have Norton AntiV 2003 updated regularly I still got it and my computer is a mess.
Thats why Macs are safer because virus makers don't target them.
I also like Macs because they run smoothly.
But they are not popular so not much software out there for Mac.
The choice is up to you

Well I’m sorry to say but it looks like us windows users have won this vote so far.

That is quite true macs are not targeted has much with viruses as windows users are, but it's the same as Linux vs Windows, Linux users create viruses to attack windows because its more popular, if Linux or A mac was more popular than windows then windows users would be targeting them.

Hey darren, you seem to follow the phonetic pronunciation of a word to spell them. Hehe. Use the spelling cow spell-checker, because it's 'won'. I know that you know the actual spelling though , mistakes happen to all of us, but I just noted this as one of your characteristics hehe(for that biography thread coming soon )

Darren, you are right about that, but it's not Linux users who do that, just hackers in general ...evil evil people ...
Though MacOSX is the sexiest operating system in it's natural state I've ever seen, it looks cool and I love the dock(I've used my cousin's mac) :P

How on earth did I make those spelling mistakes I feel so embarrassed, I’ll fix them straight away.

Hey I didn’t know that the cow speller worked now I guess it’s been working for ages and I never knew it.

Cool I see you are going to start the biography thread you told me about, good luck.

PS. I checked this post with cow speller and I had know spelling mistakes per say but cow speller did not recognize "didn’t" he he he.

geekerati is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm a PC person, although I think the Mac's are very cool looking machines. If I were a movie editor or graphics artist I would probably make the switch. They are so expensive though!

Eric mentioned spelling! I have the worst grammar. I interchange--is that a word 'their' and 'there' constantly. I also change the pretense Am, is, are , was, were (forms of b, linking verbs) Grammatical errors, run-ons and even fragments. I'm sooooo confused and lazy. In my hast to post I'm neglectful, then my message loses its meaning because it is drowning in errors.
