Vista DVD Playback

I have a compaq v5000 laptop that originally came with XP. I use my laptop in the road to watch alot of dvds. But since i upgraded to vista, i have had video playback problems.

DVDs are impossible to watch, every frame sticks and gets more and more transperent.

but downloaded movies work fine, except for if i try to fast forward or rewind, then the lip synking gets off

i can learn to live with the last one, but does anyone have any idea why it is doing this.

Access this link and see the table doww towards the bottom.

Table is titled: Known issues after upgrading to Windows Vista

It seems you will need to use Use Windows Media Player 11 for audio/video playback. CyberLink and InterVideo applications may be affected by choppy playback quality.

Well I think right now the best possible advice that I could give you is you stick to XP first. Cause right now Vista is having problems upgrading on its own. And it is still now very stable right now.

Post Need Help - Google Middle East

Dear All:
I am a new community member with 0 points; therefore there are some limitations on my account. I joint this group to be able to reach someone who could provide me with Google Middle East office contact information.

I am an IT/GIS consultant working presently in Middle East and need to get intouch with Google Middle East representatives before making an important proposal/ decision.

Through my search I established that Mr. Nikesh Arora is Google Middle East business manager (VP); however I was not able to locate his email address. Can anyone help. I have sent an inquiry through general google contact/ feedback form, but no reply since a long time. Led me to believe that Google is trapped in the same loop like many other huge corporations. It may be the nature of the beast

Anyways, any help would be highly appreciated.
