Call me a traditionalist but...
Consumerreports had HP and Toshiba on top
PC Mag had IBM/Lenovo (at one point) some 200 times as durable as all the others...I can say, my ol' A31 Thinkpad as been a real workhorse and has taken many falls and kicks, and has a really comfortable keyboard. Mac is gaining ground ... that's probably my next ... but a bit pricey |

Acer is one of the good brand of pc... long last of batteries is I think is in the hand of the owner...make sure your bat. is not always dry or over charged.. choose the brand of laptop that where the specs. is always available in the market...

I am using IBM Thinkpad (T23) right now...It works good....It depends upon your budget....If you want the latest, so go ahead....Dell, Apple etc...kindly do a research about this and compare there existing features....
