Laptop Suggestion !!

I am thinking about buying laptop. Do you have any preferable brand? In my country, we use a lot of ACER but I don't like it. I want the laptop that last long on battery and good quality. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hi

I really like acer laptops and don't find anything wrong with them

If you are after a laptop which will save you battery power go for a mobile processor. e.g. Intel Pentium M

The disadvantage is, it's normally one or the other, speed or battery power unless you are willing to pay the price.

Toshiba's are good laptops

Hello,

I made this post on another forum and it seem to help for a desktop purchase. I tweaked it a bit for a laptop.

------------------------

A few options if you are from the states

Wait for Holiday (ie July 4th)
Start checking out hp.com, dell.com and then look at the locals like
Compusa, circuit city, bbuy.

The goal is:
1. Processor Dual Core
2. Light weight 12.1'' screen or Desktop replacement 17''
3. HD 100-200gigs
4. If you can stay away from Vista, then do it. Nothing special in vista
5. memory 2 gigs. 2+ gigs for vista
6. WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY WARRANTY
7. Did I mention WARRANTY . At least 3 years.

Stay away from:
Emachines: Not for your price range
Sony: Poor tech support
IBM: Unless u want to spend more

Deals:
OK. Best place to always start is my favorite site: http:Online Coupons | Cash Back

Good Luck

Hi, I've got a HP (Hewlett Packard) widescreen and found it really good. I love the design of my friend's Sony but it seems to have quite a few glitches... though to be fair that could be her, as most things she touch seem to break (! sorry Anna)

When you buy loptop it should have all the highest specification.,just like it should be dual core and others., it is important to look for its specification in order to support the upcoming softwares.

I have 2 Dell laptops and both of the work great but it also depends on what your trying to use the computer for most, For example gaming I would got with Dell XPS, Media based HP isn't bad for the but if your serious about a media based computer you might want to look at a Mac book Pro. and as said before WARRANTY (get the extended one because I'm have trouble with a computer thats is a year old and I cant get help because my warranty just expired.)
