can anyone tell me any information on webmaster jobs or moderator work (or where to find the information)

In other words you're asking to moderate a forum?
A webmaster job? Describe what means webmaster job please.

Well, yes and I would like information on what the work requires (want to moderate a forum soon or chat room). Now I am learning so that I can someday hopefully be a webmaster.

The problem is that I still have more learning to do first. Would like more info on that...or maybe where to go for info on webmastering. My friends always warn me to not rush into the computer thing....but any advice would be helpful.

IMO moderators are those who have the "power" to do something like edit, move, delete your post on a forum...better yet contact one of them for you to learn more..

why don't you try to browse, you just type what information you needed to get for example your looking for a tips for web design. you type "tips for web design" and the next is you just choose which site gives you best info.

usually you can be a moderator if you are an active member of a forum.. you can also apply to be a mod, just contact the admin and sometimes they are going to offer or invite you to be mod...
