Google Address Bar Icon Issue

This is my first post in GC, I hope this is the right forum. I tried browsing and searching for an answer, to no avail.

I just noticed, when using IE7, the icon that appears in the address bar, when I cunduct a Google Search from the search bar (or from the Google home page) is no longer the standard "G" in a box.

I am now seeing a "V", (a blue box with the "V" in reverse...white). I get the standard "G" when I click on news, however.

My address bar in my Firefox browser still has the "G" in the address bar when doing a search, as does my the IE6 browser on my laptop.

I'm concerned this may be a hijack or redirect that I am unfamiliar with.

Any ideas?

Oh my dear, uninstall IE7 and use Firefox!!! Hahaha just joking....
Or try to CLEAR CACHE and temporary internet files in IE7 Internet Options tab. Then close it and open again.

Still, I'd like to know what might have caused that, if you have any idea.
