Is Microsoft on a downhill slide?
Microsoft has had to extend the deadline of sales for XP for yet another 6 months.
Google has picked up support for the OpenOffice document format in Documents&Spreadsheets. IBM has now released a new package (Lotus Symphony) based on the OpenOffice document format, and has teamed with OpenOffice.org in software development. Apple stock is expected to grow by at least 30% in the coming year. Microsoft lost in European courts for exclusive dominance in its OOXML document format. MacOS, it seems, is just waiting for "user demand" to have more supported software...and has gained by 5% in market share. Is Microsoft on a downhill slide? |
