Question problems logging on to iGoogle OR anything requiring a logon with Google!

HELP!!! I have had an ongoing problem with being unable to log on to anything requiring a logon with Google, including iGoogle [which I really, really miss!!!]!

This problem started when I became a Comcast subscriber & installed McAfee! I don't have any choice about Comcast because of where I moved to! It took some doing, but I have finally gotten rid of all traces of McAfee, but still cannot log onto iGoogle on my home PC!

NOTE: I have been in IT for nearly 30 years, so I have already tried all the recommended quick fixes AND all of the the more advanced ones! I have been into the registry, etc., etc. & still am pulling my hair out! I really like my iGoogle pages & have many tools that I have now been unable to access at home for nearly one month!

In researching this problem, I ran across articles making reference to problems that accurred last fall [2006] with Google, Comcast & McAfee!

Needless to say, Comcast AND McAfee have both been totally useless! Does anyone out there have any suggestions? HELP!!!

Unhappy iGoogle Scramble

I use an iMac G4, running Mac OS 10.4.10. My web browser is Safari 2.0.4. I've used Google for my search engine for ages. Recently, I started using iGoogle. Great for a few months, then everything on screen came up scrambled, as if some digital hand had pushed all the gadgets to the left and then spit half chewed peanuts at the web page. The only message I'm able to discern is "Send failed." Not sure what that implies.

I went to iGoogle help and tried the various fixes, including restore and reset, as well as removing all cache/cookies and installing the latest version of Java. All to no avail.

I miss my iGoogle, too. What to do, what to do??

I just went into iGoogle help, and from there to the reset option. Clicked reset and my personalized iGoogle web page came up okay. Hurray!
