Where do you get photoshop, im very confused because that seems to be the program to use and i dont have it

Alternately, try www.gimp.org. GIMP is an editor with features very similar to Photoshop, but it's free.

I got my copy from a chum, but you can always use a peer-to-peer file sharing program like Kazaa Lite K++ or Shareaza to obtain a free, yet pirated and illegal distribution. In some cases, the downloaded version may turn out to be a prototype version where many features fail to fuction.

that is not a good advice Eric ...

You can download the full version and try it for 30 days. Just try it for 30 days and if you like it you can buy it..

Well there is another method..to get it for much less Just get ashampoo uninstaller and install it in your computer. Then install the trial version of Photoshop using that. After 30 days remove it using the un installer and install it again.. I hope thats not illegal but still you have to buy Ashampoo Uninstaller. It costs only 50$ much less that 600$.
And you can use Uninstaller to install any other apllication also
