May have had some trojans. PC Tools Spyware now shows PC to be clear. However, Google loads ok as home page but any attempt to use the search facility just results in 'waiting for HTTP etc' and the search results never appear. I use IE6 and also Mozilla. Both result in the same error. I can use MSN search ok if I enter the web address in directly. Facebook will also not load. Does anyone have a clue what m ight be causing this and a possible resolution? I am getting to the point where I am thinkin
g about reformatting. All ideas welcome and much appreciated. Cheers! |
