Memory Upgrade... Please Help!

I went into cruical.com to see what kind of memory card is compadable for my PC, while selecting, I'm having trouble picking the correct configurations, and would like you guys help on it.
1. It said to select Mfgr, I suppose this would mean my computer model. I'm currently using a Mircosoft XP home edition PC, but on my computer processor, LG brand's logo is on it. So I selected LG on the drop down menu, when I did so, Step 2-which was product line, did not say anything about PC's, just labtop and phones. Could you guys please help me on this? What is my PC brand..? (Mircosoft, or anything related to it wasn't on the drop down menu.)

2. Step 3 of the process was to choose what model my computer/electronics was, and I am completely clueless what my compuer model is, can you help me as to where I can get this information from?

3. One last question, is there a universal PC memory card that is compadable for all computers?
