Computers versus TV

I just read an article about how the computer will die in the next 10 years and how it will only be used to get work done. Do you think e-mail internet movies tv shows videos music photos etc should all be viewed on TV? i sure do. Why is it taking so long to make the TV the place to get your email photos music etc?

I'm trying to think of a way to explain this but my brain is just about to turn off for the night.

It really depends. Because Laptops for example, will you be bringing a 30" + tv on the airplane to view your e-mail? Personally the way it's going I don't believe it's going to die out within that time frame (Maybe IMac versions of the PC will spring up a bit more).

Okay, now I'm reading the question a bit more clearly. I think e-mail should still be available and read on the computer. But I don't see anything wrong with being able to read it on the little media center. Viewing pictures on the big screen would probably take over with the direction of Microsoft's media center stuff and SBC's direction of putting Internet into every home. Gaming may go the same way with the XBox 360 (Okay I must be sick, I'm talking nice things about Microsoft).

What the hell?
TV sucks. It's not computers that'll disappear, it's television.
