Help! I can't install the google toolbar.

I'm using firefox 1.0+ with windows XP, and when I click on the 'agree and install' button, nothing happens. I clicked on the 'If you click "Agree and Install" and nothing happens....' link, but the banner it talks about hadn't appeared when I pushed the button. I tried putting 'toolbar.google.com' into the list of allowed sites anyway, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

Try enabling Javascript.
Otherwise the address for the toolbar is at:

Javascript (and java) were already enabled, and I tried that link, but it still dosen't work (but thanks anyway

) Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Make sure you do a right click and save as rather than just clicking on it.

Drag the file to the extension Window and from there you should know what to do.
