Google search "error"
http://www.google.co.uk/sorry/?conti...aq%3Df%26oq%3D
(Ignore what the search was actually for, i was typing nonsense to see if there really was anything wrong) I have been getting this error on all searches most of today, have done full scan with both AV and anti-spyware apps, nothing found, but was still getting it until a few minutes ago Then, as with several searches that i found, i started another scan (different AV) and the problem immediately vanished - but the virus scan didn't find anything (in fact it was still initialising when the problem vanished) - there are a couple of random posts about people getting this error and then it working when they start a scan, even though the scans found nothing So, either there was a google problem that coincidentally ended as i started a new scan; Google looks on your PC to see if you have virus scanned recently I have a virus that is redirecting searches, although they appear to still be on google.com, and is not being found by my AV/Anti-spyware, and the virus is clever enough to disable itself when a virus scan is launched. I'm sure there are more options, but I can't think of them Anyone else know what could be going on? |
