Right click desktop - Disabled?
Hi
I been playing with windows blinds. One of the themes changed the desktop pic , when i tried to right click on the desktop to change it back to my own pic, i found the right click context menu wasn't .. er.. there going into Display via Control Panel and the ability to change desktop backgrounds were all greyed out. even after i unloaded windows blinds. Googling i was able to find a reg edit to at least get my pic back on the desktop . Now with Blinds loaded i am able to go into the display properties and all the background options are enabled but i am still unable to get a context menu when i right click the desktop. any ideas please? |

Yeah, I have heard of it. There is a setting that can create all desktop stufff on your start menu, thus disabling desktop clicks. If you right click on the start menu (in an empty area), then toolbars, then desktop. If that's selected, then unselect it and your desktop will be normal. If it is not selected, then just select it. Wait until it is done, and then unselect it. If it doesn't work, I am sorry
