5 80MM Case fans $29.99

1 AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego Core $363.99

1 Ultra Copper Heatpipe CPU Fan $39.99

OCZ Silver Thermal Gel $4.99

Asus A8N SLI Premium nforce4 Socket939 Mobo $182.99

1 AOC Artic Silencer (Special Fan for GeForce 7800) $34.99

1 Sony DRU810 16x Dual Layer DVD Burner $57.99

2 Western Digital 200GB SATA Drive (Will set up for Raid-0) $149.98

For right now thats it. I'm going to get a second DVD burner later. And possible use the SLI compatible GeForce7800 but it'll be a little down the road. I dropped $1550 on that so far.

Nice machine, though you might have considered dualcore CPU - much more snappy (heck, I'm writing this on a machine that has p2 266...but two of them - and because of that is much more comfortable than one would think). Also, when buying second DVD writer, I'd suggest something other than Sony - BenQ is generally recommended now, though who knows how it'll be in the future...

Yes I did consider the dualcore CPU. However the dualcores don't run faster they only allow for the precessing of more data at once. They are still restricted by an even slower FSB than the single core. When I'm doing something I generally am only doing 3 or 4 things at once and when gaming only my game and maybe some music. And I probably will get the BenQ for the second DVD drive.

I have an Inspiron 9100 right now. Which was the first of the Dell XPS gaming machines. It's quite powerful for a laptop but it just doesn't have everything that I want. I would reccommend the Dell XPS (which is a good laptop at a good price) or go for an Alienware(Which is probably the best, but high priced)

Hahaha, nothing wrong with a little pron... I did a little bit of college before I joined and always pulled apart our family computer. But computers are also a part of my job in the Marine Corps..Although as you know a lot of Marine corps training is worthless so I've had to learn most of it on my own.

Hahahaha, not everything I've done is worthless. Just most of my job specific training. I'm with a grunt battalion so every once in a while something good and fun comes along. Mostly it's just stuff to make my body like 30 years older than it really is.
