SATA RAID 0....

Well as you all know I bought my new computer parts. I put it together yesterday but for some reason it's having a problem installing windows. I got it to recognize the SATA RAID 0 and Windows started installing. I was installing a Pirated Windows x64 bit edition. But it went really really slow. And by slow I mean like each minute = about 10 minutes. And then when it finally finished the computer just kept restarting. I'm trying a legal copy of Windows XP home right now. I'm not sure if this is going to work... I can always switch it to NVIDIA SATA... Does anyone have any clue as to what is going on?? Or am I on my own.

Let us know the latest news... I recently installed a (legal) copy of x64, which was quite slow as well. Turns out the cd was just crappy. Doesn't really matter, since the computer conked out two days later anyway. If the legal copy doesn't work either, though, you may have a hardware problem. Which would suck.

Well I got it going. Apparently most AMD 64's are slow installing the OS int he beginning. After I unistalled the OS and started reinstalling it installed just as fast as it normally would. So that's all good. Couple minor problems. But the only real one thats pissing me off is now I can play a game and I'm getting decent FPS but after like 10 minutes the game freezes and I either get the blue screen or I just have to restart by turning it off. It's apparentlya problem with nv4_disp.dll I did some searching around and it seems that a lot of people with GeForce 6 and 7 series get this problem. Theres a lot of people who have put up their fixes but so far no luck. I can now play about 20 minutes before crash but I don't want any crash at all. I'll let you know what I find out... If it doesn't work I'm going to see if I can return and then maybe switch to ATI. Who knows....I don't want to switch cause I want the SLI stuff for later down the road.
