3rd Batallion 3rd marine recall.

I know I said i'm tired of talking about the war, and I may be a bigget now, but guess who's going back. No not the real slim shady, my unit has been called up yet again to "serve" our country. Just thought i'd let you guys know incase you wondered why the samarian body count is steadily increasing.

Not that we try and to that, but, they only send the slaughter house unit in when...well, look at the title.

I'll be leaving in 11 days via MacDill AFB/SOCOMM. Yippy friggin skippy. They claim it's a 3month rotation seeing as how we just got back less than a month ago. We'll see.

I'll keep you guys posted with info when I get there. Oh yea, i'm a Sergeant now, so I get front of the line privilleges!! yaay! (this is my not really excited face)

That's a shame. What does a sergeant get to do that others don't?

Well instead of being the CIC(Corporal in command) now i'm an actual platoon commander. Which is just added responsibility, but also some extra incentives. But, it puts me in a whole new categorey also. Meaning I can't "hang" with the guys the same way I could when I was an e-4. It sucks, but then again, you gotta move up sometime

Thanks a lot, Mondine. It's really not that big of a deal. I expected it to happen. We won't be doing much so the Gunney tells me, he is usually pretty upfront with me. My wife isn't even worried really, which is a shock because when it first came on the news that we were bombing samara she started crying. Time to investigate that crap lol. We'll be fine, my men are "AJ squared away" so we should be back sometime in the middle of summer. Oh lord is it going to be hot over there! Them spiders are out like crazy when it's summer, boy now i'm all kinds of excited.

Apparently....False alarm. Including two of my GP's, we have to stay home. Something about our phsyche. To much time in country is what I call it.
