Hypnosis believe or not?

I just have reading up on the subject lately (during the dead hours atwork) and found it to be intresting. Now personaly im a skeptic aboutthis kind of stuff. I was checking out with a female friend of mine andshe is really into it, mostly the erotic hypnosis kind. She wants totry it on me and i was like "uh.....no". Any thoughts?

Yes, I believe hypnosis exists, and works. But not on everyone.
Some people are more susceptible to suggestion than others.
And it will never, ever work on an unwilling or uncooperative subject. People can't be hypnotized against their wills
(or without them noticing, like some goofy books would have you believe).

I've always wanted to be hypnotized or have someone try it. i think it would be pretty cool just because I could then see first hand if it reallyw orks.

I believe in it.
And it does work. Some people get hypnotised instead of being given anaesthetics for an operation, if for some reason they are allergic to anaesthetics, or another reason. But the person has to be willing to suggestion for it to work.
So if hypnosis didn't work, I think you'd have heard about it from these people.

I believe that its real, and has a lot of positive uses. However, I am one of those high-strung persons for whom hypnosis probablywouldn't work. I don't, however think that people can be made to do goofy things while under. I hear that you're totally aware of what's happening, but you're in a really relaxed state.

I think that it is a ridiculous concept that has been dreampt up so that people can make some dough. Just a couple of trickx strung together
