I don't think it's wise to physically hit out at anyone, but I understand what it's like to be seriously pushed into a corner. Try talking some sense and try to reason with her, try to understand where did all of that provocation stems from, and most importantly, always try to keep your nerves calm in tense situations.

Physical violence, in any form, is never a good thing. Sometimes it's understandable, but it isn't wise. Walking away from it or trying to talk about it is in my opinion a better sollution. If you want to discuss it with her, remember this: when your feeling angry it's not the right time to discuss anything. Try to calm down before you discuss thing with her and try to stay calm, even is she does get angry and starts to yell at you.
