IT scopes in US, canada and europe?

hi everyone!!!!
i want to know how much is the scope for IT field in countries like United states, canada and switzerland. like most of the ppl, i aim for a live in somewhere in these places. but i wonder what will happen to the career i have started. one: there must be fierce competition. and the second point is: since IT is economic in asian countries, the work get outsourced to asia. so, i wonder what IT related work will be left in these developed countries. Unlike the work of ppl like nurses, whose work cant be outsourced unless the ppl themselves go to these countries, IT related work can be done from countries from asia. so,what are ur opinions? pls contribute..thanks
