Is there a word for 'the one, on whom you can depend' or 'the one, whom you can rely'

hi everyone!!
i am getting short of words. i want to know what do you call in a word to define 'the one, whom you can depend on anything' or 'the one, whom you can rely on anything'? like your frens, family members. whats the exact word for it? dependable?? i want another one... something like 'confidant' but which can be defined as the above mentioned phrases.

just call it as your "best friend" because what you've mention were the characteristics of the best buddy

very very nice word indeed. but i need the word for writing an article, not seo related, but just for myself. and i need something, specific.... which can be described as i mentioned. thanks

Hmm,

Well, it's a tricky question, because if that person is not your 'best buddy' and you don't know him, how can you be sure that you can rely on him 100% ?

Maybe 'reliable source' - which is a "nobody" who you trust.

but i need to write something like this.
infact, this is what u feel, when u dont find anyone to comfort u in ur low times.
"i am my own confidant. i am my own protector(???odd!!!) and i am my own Ms. dependable(???odd yet again!!!)". so, pls advise here...and and...i dont want to hurt my real best frens by writing word 'best friend' here

You don't have a friend nor family whom you
