I have this problem. it seems the same all the time....
how to talk to new online friends?

what do you mean how to talk? with online friends? well if ever approach them friendly.. be nice!! be yourself...

First: Introduce yourself! (be honest)
Second: Ask politely if it's ok to be his/her friend (ask if you can exchange email or whatever mediums of communication you want)
Third: Always say THANK YOU even he/she didn't yet accept your offer of friendship.

Try and try... You'll find friends online.

be nice...and ask him about his/her profile..don't say about yourself that might reflect you boastful because it will turn you away....
