Yes I to believe in God, although my lifestyle at the moment would question such a statement, I was brought up a Jehovah's witness but even though I stupidly left the truth at 16 to pursue the bright lights of temptation, the truth has never left my heart and now at 31 I am taking slow steps to get back on track,
All the signs are that we are living in these last days and it's pretty scary when your on the other side of the fence but fully intend to try and salvage what's left of my worldly polluted life and try and move in the right direction. It's just so hard, feels like I'm swimming against the tide but hopefully with a lot of effort,some faith and the power of prayer I can slowly move forward, Satan knows all of our weaknesses and constantly ddoes all in his power to prevent us from serving the only true God that is Jehovah...I would welcome any comments or suggestions from any other witnesses in any area or congregation that can even remotley relate to this post.

Well, there are those who think that science is the root of all evil, but science has also provided for us many things that cure our ills, grow our food, transport us here and there, take us to the moon and other regions of outer space to see who and what is there, power our machines, compute and answer our questions, provide us with means of communications (like these forums), and a host of other things. Science in of itself is not the root of all evil. Not all things that come from science are the root of all evil.

For most things, it's what man himself does with the things that come from science that proves good or ill for the species.

But none of this has anything to do with the existence of God.

Actually what we all have today has nothing to do with God. One individual who believes in God would just like to think that it is his doing. So instead of knowing what one's capabilities are, they just rely it out to him. Science and Religion is almost two different yet at times are common things.
