I have been a humanitarian officer,usa called us { social Worker} .for the past few Years ,we have involved in projects that includes orphans,orphanages,heart related diseases in children betweeen the ages of 4-10yrs .
My uncle is the controller of our humanitarian organisation {GRAND TRUST FUND} not a recognised one but we pray that it will,In God good grace,Just some few weeks ago,My uncle travelled to Germany and he told me if i'll like to travel with him,But i thought of seeing him in Germany before i come ,since he went on making researches. I also thought of moving on ,so as to contribute more to the development of the organistaion. Our headquarter address is

So i decided to leave south dakota as to know how social workers there does and work with other social workers to get more experience ,so i planned to move in by the availability of the room..I'll also want to see more pictures of the place .
Moreso,if there is any form am going to feel,you can send it for me to view,so i will tell you if am ok with it or not,then i will fill it once i arrive.Cos,is better to do that physically.
Well,have accomplish my mission in South Dakota,the management of GTF(The organisation am working for instructed me to change environment,so that i can influence the rest of the states in United State and let them know that there is an organisation called GTF,i think this will promote and develop the organisation..I work for them and they do pay me well,so i will be paying you everymonth regularly with no excuse...
I must confess am comfortable with the price and I will want to secure the place down before my arrival so i will want you to tell me all about the place,as i can't see it before my arrival but the pictures...I also will want you to know that i have my car that i will be coming over with,and little of my furnitures,please let me know if there will be room for them..

like luvnthebeach71, i was looking for a badly needed roommate. I got much the same reply. i will just ignore these emails from now on. I blieve this person may know my full name but that is all.
do other people here recommens anonymizing their email addresses?

i too was contacted from a person named "kelly" "jimbright" or "bright", responding to an ad i placed online @ the chicago reader. the email address was "kellybright01@gmail.com". the form was very similar, if not exactly the same! like motheryin, i responded to the email with my personal email address. is there any need for concern? the skeptic in me wondered why this person was going to bring their car with them from the UK???? then i tried to google the "name", and that didn't bring up anything. following that, i googled the "grand trust fund (gtf)" and found this forum. thanks so much for confirming my fears!!! but, i wonder if there is somthing we can do to stop this person? or is that a futile exercise?

I got the same email like the rest of the people on here. I was cautious however with the broken english so didn't release name or address or any personal information except my email address which doesn't contain any personal information. I mean the date of birth and name and location are all wrong so I don't really care if someone has it. It isn't my official. When she mentioned the Grand Trust Fund I was going to look it up until she said that it wasn't official and that got me suspicious so I googled it and got to this site. Thanks all for the heads up. My email came from a lynda james lynda_james05@geekzonemail.com and I had posted my ad looking for a roomate. She was from Germany living in Conneticut as a social worker having recently moved from North Dakota. She was bringing her car and some furniture down too. I hope this helps someone else.

I think a good heads up (or ups) are
1. The long detailed nature of the reply, usually full of needless info.
2. No specific response to questions you sent in prior emails.

I have to agree. I posted an ad on Craigslist and got the scam email back. I responded and told them that they really needed to do more research if they were going to be successful with a life of crime. The email is obviously a scam. Here is what was sent to me, which is the exact same email others have received:

we got this email as well. but the first one we recieved was written in perfect english, and then the second one was written with dutch and german as well as british words in it, they also made the mistake of saying the lived in south dakota, and then in a later email, told us the lived in the uk and they were from germany. pissed me off but then kind of made me sit back and laugh thinking about how many mistakes they made in the emails. and the biggest one was, USING THE SAME EXACT STUPID EMAIL FOR OVER A YEAR. if thats not the dumbest criminal in the world. oh wait theres probly dumber any ways thanks for posting your comments ill keep a sharper eye out for sensless idiots like this from now on.
