Flock (a new browser)

I found an article about a new browser that looks to be most interesting. Their niche is:

emphasizing blogging, networking, and online communities
If interested, be sure to get on their mailing list for when they decide to release it.

Interesting. It is being designed by developers who previously collaborated on Firefox. I don't really understand what they are aiming for, but if it is what I think it is, then Firefox already has it in the form of the Jybe plug-in.

Anyway, if it ain't open-source, it ain't on course.

That new browser looks great. The new features that are planned for it do seem to be taking it to the next level.

I can't wait to try it.

It does sound interesting. But kind of hard to envision without being able to actually look at it.

Personally, my interest would depend upon the extent that it's 'ad-driven'. I expect that to be a business necessity.
It just depends on how they do it, and how obtrusive the ads are.

I signed up for the Flock mailing list weeks ago and haven't heard anything. Seems like a great idea, but we'll just have to wait and see.
