Stock on GC Shop

Why is the GC Shop always out of stock?
Also, does GC Shop plan to sell any "hard"ware in the near future? (Stuff that can be shipped such as t-shirts, pens etc..)

Seems to me that at one point, Intelliot was musing about expanding the GC store 'line'.
You'd have to sort through a number of threads on the topic, because people keep asking, and then the threads are moved to the GC Community Announcements forum....
