Day that we should forever remember

I think there is lot of days which we should ever remember please post days which we should ever remember...
-----------
27 January Is the day of full lifting of a blockade of Leningrad.
All people who lived in Leningrad felled horror, fear, cold, hunger...
Over 2 million people died (!) under the siege 2/3 of Leningrad destroied or damaged...
The Nazism has been condemned by the right for the acts! Nobody has the rights to make such acts!
All of us should remember what has happened in Leningrad and other cities of USSR and Europe!
We should ever remember those who died in the second world war and those who had saved most of us.
This no meter where was those heroes from: USSR or UK,France, USA or other who helped to fight against the enemy...
Eternal memory to heroes! Who saved Europe and all the world!

Wohoo, one dictator who killed millions of people crushed under one city by another dictator who killed even more (his own at that...) people, let's celebrate!

PS. There's "better" anniversary today. Anyone remembers Challenger?

As I understand your are toking about Stalin and Hitler. I won't say that Stalin was much better than Hitler. Yes Stalin killed many people, but Hitler was much more cruel and killed more people than Stalin. Actually I don't like them both.

But I was talking about people who who perform this exploit to us, we should ever remember those who died, we should remember those what had been done..
And not to do everything again

Actually, you're wrong - Stalin killed much more people. His own people.
And yes, people should be remembered, but always in context. You're portraining them in typical way "heroes of the great Soviet Union". They were victims. Do you think any of them wanted to give their own blood for stalinists?

I know What Stalin made with his people. To betray your own people is very bad, people belived him and he did such thing with them. I've told that this victory isn't belongs only to USSR it belongs to all nations non only for those who lived in USSR.
Yeah Stalin have made GULAG where lot of people died but i don't think that he killed more than Hitler... over 2 million people in Leningrad... so there are lot of cities which were completely destroyed in USSR, France, UK, other countries
I don't think that Stalin killed over 60 million people in his country (this was half of population of USSR)
And Hitler killed all this 60 million people shurly not be himself.

Actually I've made this topic not to discuss USSR, Stalin or Hitler and their cruelty.
I wanted to tell about those days we should forever remember and I think there wold be other people how cold say something too.

Yeah. It is hard to imagine how many people he deported to Siberia. He was an anti-Semite too, like Hitler, since he disapproved of his own daughter's marriage to a Jew, disowned her, and also he killed his own wife, according to some accounts. He also sponsored many regional pogroms against Jews. Because the Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenburg helped hundreds of thousands of Jews escape imminent death, he captured him and imprisoned him in a Siberian death camp, where he remained till his death. Also, he was distrustful of Muslims, and Turkic people in general, so he had the entire Crimean Tatar population of Ukraine displaced to Siberia, on the charge of collaborating with the Nazis, where many died in Auschwitz-like concentration camps. Hell, he also had his rivals taken out swiftly following his rise to power. The Germanic peoples of the USSR also feared him because many of them shared the same fate, and faced the wrath of the frosty Siberian prisons.

Actually, Hitler himself was responsible for about 45 million deaths, whereas Stalin was directly and indirectly responsible for the deaths of over 60 million people. The effects of his actions continued well after his death. It is one of the reasons why Women outnumber men by a lot in Russia.

Ehhhh... (there's no other option but to use it...)
This number is total casualities of the war on all fronts, by any means, because of anyone's decision
Besides Stalin had much, much more time...

Strange, population of USSR was 120-170 million people I don't think that he was so crazy to kill half of his country...

Again you're thinking not about what I wanted...

You really think numbers reported were accurate? Also you have to remember that those deaths occured over, say, almost 40 years.
And he wasn't crazy. He just treated people like materials.
