AUSTRALIAN GUN LAWS
Hi! What are your opinions on the Aussie gun laws? For those who dont know, we cannot have semiauto or pump shotties or semiauto rifles (centrefire and rimfire). Personally, I think they are absolutely stupid. Imagine one day you are told you could no longer have your favourite pump or semi auto shottie? Or your Ruger 10/22 rabbit rifle? Both were taken from me along with a Mini 14 and an M1 Carbine. What are your thoughts?

I think gun control is top priority, however, not to be able to have a semi automatic hand gun is BS. Not everyone likes to carry a .38 with a speed loader. I quite frankly refuse to. I'd rather know, that if by a miracle in close quarters I couldn't get a confirmed hit, that I have 6 more rounds to go.

you see, in Australia, Zima, we have a massive problem with feral pigs in the outback. the only satisfactory weapon to use is a semi auto rifle. trust me, I know from experience. Do you actually know what semi automatic means?

Hmm...I see (not for the first time...) you have problems following what is called "discussion" in this part of the world. Let me explain in that case...
A - first person B - second person Example: A - (talking/writing something) B - (asking something) Now boys and girls, comes a very important and hard to understand for some concept! When B asks something without explicitly pointing at one particular phrase, it most probably means that the question was directly connected to "(talking/writing something)", that is, what A had just said. If that hard concept is understood by everybody, the discussion might follow, for example: A - (answering question from "(asking something)") However, if one side doesn't understand what discussion is, it might turn out like this: A - (throwing new info in pretentious tone and implying incopetence of B) |
