Font Change - Courier New?
A couple of days ago the font of my incoming mail changed and is now
displayed in Courier New. Is this just me? Was it like this all the time and im only noticing it now? Has it changed for everyone? Most importantly, is there any way to change it back?brbrThanks,brPhil |

A couple genenral questions:
Did you delete the font "Arial" from your computer? Which part of GMail has changed? All of it? Some of it? This forum is in Arial, is it in Courier New? Why is this an issue? Do you not like Courier New (it is my favorite Windows font)? Answer these questions please, SC |

Thanks for replying SonicChao05. The font of this site is in Arial (though the quick reply box in in courier). Only the text of my mail has changed, not the rest of it. I do find Arial much easier to read than courier, though thats not really the point. Message text through google should be in Arial shouldn't it?
Thanks Phil |

One more question. How do you know that the person/people who sent you the e-mail/s didn't change the font to Courier New themselves when writing. They might have done so, for their own reasons. You might want to check up before you start suspecting things.

I agree with IamTheKing9, check to see if they didn't send it in Courier New. Send a test email to yourself with the font Ariel and that will, hopefully, work again. Anyway, I don't think the browser matters, as I've accessed Gmail in both FF and IE. Another browser might interfere, though.

You might have changed something in the settings of your browser or another program would have done that for you. Check it out.
I don't think that's a Gmail issue. Try this : if you're using IE install Firefox and try Gmail with it (you won't regret it, and you may keep it after |

If you use CustomizeGoogle with FireFox, then I know your problem. I had the same one... Go to CustomizeGoogle options and click on the Gmail tab. Then click on use a fixed font for mail bodies. Hit apply, then uncheck it and it fixed my problem.
